    12 Mile

    G'day

Just a quick report got to run

Blandy and i hit the 12 mile last night for an overnighter and ended up with a good feed of mixed reef. Blow its butt of all night from the west at around 20 knots. Fish chewed most of the night but not alot happening in the morning.

Hit a cobe spot in the morning dropping two good ones but thats fishing.

    cheers pete...

    Re: 12 Mile Spaniards

    Thorpy,
MBA 12 mile on Thursday. Tuna (frigates about 36cm long) on jig (on bottom). DR'd to 80ft (in 38m of water) before any hits. Three Spaniards all 10-12kgs. I was expecting bigger fish this time of year especially on live tuna. Dolphins were active and stealing hooked fish they got two fish at back of boat).
Fish are deep. Current light. Water surface temp 24.5ish .
Bait scarce. No Yakkas or Slimeys inshore but the tuna were welcome.
    Go get em.
