if your not getting snagged your not fishing in the right area
I'm guessing it is the sandpumping pipe that passes from the north to south wall of the seaway. you can see it on the sounder - it starts just west of the tower - pretty sure there are signs at each end.

if it is the pipe that runs thru the seaway it it is about 200m from the mouth. runs across from the cement block on the south to the northern side. easy to spot the cement block...normally the first spot that someone will fish from and just to the left at the end of the road into the seaway carpark.. good luck..... sits about 2 metre off the bottom....nugget has some good footage of it on his website from a underwater dive that will help you understand a bit more about it....
yeah it in the seaway it should have signs stating that there is a submerged pipe below.

Breaming is my LIFE!!!
Cobia -the reply's so far are spot on with the location of the pipe if you are going to fish it i would recommend you have a look at Dave's [nugget] dvd under the Gold Coast shows you exactly where it is and what lives there, this would help in understanding how to fish it. cheers Wayne.
There is a big sign that says do not anchor submarged pipe.
Fished it myself and caught a moray eel. Big deal.
Just look for all the boats anchored over it.

Hi Fellas - The pipe does not start where the cement block is on the south side of the Seaway.....Look further east, and you will see an oval sign - This is where it starts, and then on north side, it is clearly marked with a sign stating submurged pipeline.
