This weekends forecast is looking promising BUT the tides are terrible. Where are you going to catch a fish this weekend or do you think it'd be better to have a family day on the water having a swim at Florence and then lunch at the Marlin Bar at Horseshoe?

low wind and low current opens the reef up to many of us (though i get to go to Port Douglas) and with the minimal tide movement, hopefully that will mean minimal current out wider and the reds, cobes and trout will be on the chew. -

upstart, i dont care if there is no run still going 2 chase spanish macks cause havent been able 2 (2 windy, little boat). scott, with the no run no fun game will even try trolling 4 some fingermark a couple of nites this weekend. i"m full of confidence that i will catch fish this long weekend, so look out fish!

yes guys, the tides aren't great but it's an opportunity to fish the deeper water for reds....if you are after spanish,ronnien ,mate sound around the reefs if you are trolling and find where the schools of baitfish are showing on your sounder....there you will find the spanish and sharky mac's,if they are around...

disorderly, only got a 4.4mtr barra boat so can"t get out 2 the reef, going 2 find some bait schools in the bays & troll around them.
