Ah, technology. Wait til gps mobile phones have the ability to mark spots. every deckie and his mate that comes on your boat will secretly reach into his tackle bag and covertly press mark......
Imagine the charter boats friskin down punters for gps phones as they board....

    Wont be long now......

Lets all be honest.Who hasnt whacked in a quick waypoint /waypoint while passing a boat at anchor while whizzing out to a favourite spot so you can check out the features on another trip.

As long as you ping them from a fair distance off and dont sidle right up beside them and make a bloody nuisance of yourself whats the difference.

Theres not too many secret spots out there

I generally put a an X on the bottom of my hull when the fishing is good, so I know where to come back next time.

I go fishing with Ron Jenyns once a year on his South Pacific II Glorious old girl, he shares his GPS marks with those that have an interest, There is no guarantee that those spots are gunna produce the goods on any particular day.

Just because you're on a secret spot doesn't mean you'll be pulling up fish. There's a lot more to it than that.

There's usually other boats at the places I like to fish.
