    Redcliffe

    Just wondering if anyone has been land base around redcliffe at the moment.

    On holidays this week so i have left the ute at work and left myself without a towbar shit

    want to get out and wet a line.
    Any one have any tips on a general location..

      before i had a boat,i use to take my son fishing off margate beach.caught tings & bream there.that was over 13 years ago,don't know what it's like now.

        try walking out around the rocks at scotts point there is a car park just north of where the old skate bowl used to be. hope this helps.

          fish the new or full moon (perfect timing for the latter), north eaastern side of the haughton hwy for some bream. also try rockwall at scarborough at night.

            I caught and released a decent flattie on a hardbody last week just after low tide, western side of the r/cliffe side of the bridge. Walked out to the channel and flicked into it.

            I'll probably be there this arvo if I get enough work done by then and the tides allow it ( I haven't checked them yet ).

            Brighton end usually has a couple of lizards as the tide gets higher, but I don't know if it is fenced off now with the new bridge work underway.
