Windy but this weekend is looking promising. I go after whiting off the beach when the wind is reaonably calm in the evening and we haven't had a good night this season as yet.
I'm heading up to t'ville for my anual migration in a couple of weeks.
I'm wondering how things are going up there. I here the whiting are on.
cheers

At the moment, there seems to be bugger all happening up here! I've been away for 2 weeks, so haven't been fishing lately, but from what I've heard there's a few mackeral starting to show up, and the creeks are starting to fish again.
Let us all know when you're up, cause most of the crew from here in the Ville don't mind a refreshing ale or two
I'll be rolling into town on tuesday the 6th.
We stay on the strand & I'll be sure to visit the morning crew down in the jetty.
So whiteman, where do you fish the beach? palaranda? saunders?
I want to have a do up at saunders this trip. I also want to have a go off the breakwater rock walls too.
I'll send some P.M.s a bit later.
May be a meet & greet might be in order.
cheers
I have sat on those rockwalls for the past month at least twice a week. Early morning starts from 5 am -8am and still no FRESH FISH.
Lots of bait around but not much happening. Hopefully by the time you get here some trevors will start chewing.
Keep us posted on your endeavours
Balgal Beach. A typical arvo for about an hour - when they are on there is plenty to do ... it's a 50cm cutting board ....(http://www.bbbalc.com/News_Events/Ph...itingJun07.jpg

MMMM whiting, tasty.
I still have memories of a trip up to saunders as a kid and the elbow slappers that had to be bent to fit in the sholder bag.
I think an expedition is in order.
cheers
