    Fish ID Please

Tried for some whiting on hardbodies but only got this. Anyone know what it is? (apart from very small and hungry).

    Re: Fish ID Please

I took one of them home to start the new salt aquarium ecology going, and he was returned from whence he came ( kids had named him by then, so what else could I do? )

At least I found a purpose for it, there wouldn't be any other I don't think.

I think it is a crescent perch. I have caught a few of them while whiting fishing.
