    Lowrance Warranty Impressive

I was the proud owner of a LMS 337 C DF Lowrance GPS/ SOUNDER until it had probs with the brightness control , going from black to full brightness every second. Not the kind of nav aid u need around reefs at night. I contacted Lowrance and didn't have original receipt as unit was fitted in boat when I bought it.I had contacted original owner for proof of purchase, but he could only say he bought it about 2 years prior.I passed this on 2 Lowrance and after sending them my old unit they sent a new replacement, the latest model the 525c df. When companies back their products with fair treatment of their customers, I'll give them a plug. I speak only for myself, and without favor or profit, to let companies know that good customer service brings customer loyalty, and yes, give me a good product with good backup and I'll be back!!!!!

It sounds like there are some companies out there doing the right thing for their customers in an above and beyond manner.

You will remember them for a long time and for all the right reasons.

Good to see Lowrance are still doing the right thing re warranty.

Back in about 2000/2001 my GlobalmapGPS / Sounder starting losing pixcels and according to Lowrance it was due to the unit being wired into the motor battery so that spikes got to the unit. Even thought the unit was 2 or 2.5 yrs old, Lowrance replaced the unit with a complete new one.

Damn good service from the local mob and its good to know that this level of service continues. Perhaps another reason why buying locally even if at a little higher price could be a worthwhile investment from a long term peace of mind point of view.

    Cheers

the 337 had faulty keybaords installed and lowrance had a huge number of them worldwide returned . good to see they looked after you but really the problem was so common that there should have been a recall but they continued to sell them which is piss poor considering they are a navigational device .
