welcome to Ausfish. Great little town Wingham. I was born in Taree and grew up in the Hunter Valley. Lots of rellies lived in the area. Do they still grow oranges there?

My Dad and uncle fished the area a lot. Lots of bass in the Manning in a little boat made out of 2 VW bonnets and powered by a Seagull outboard. Lot of big Tailor off the beach at Old Bar.

One uncle had a little fibro holiday house almost next door to the fish co-op in Tuncurry. Brings back lots of memories like climbing down off the middle of Forster/Tuncurry bridge onto the sand spit to catch whiting, or chasing bream around the oyster racks and flatties in the adjacent channels.
