    Donnybrook chasing tings.

headed out from donnybrook roughly 6am.
it was almost like a mill pond.
pumped some yabs in knee deep water then i just pushed the boat off the bak and started fishing.
by about 8- 830 the wind turned up and the fish went off the bite.
got out of the wind but only had limited success after i moved spots.
on the way back to the ramp at roughly 1130 i could have almost surfed some of the waves that where coming through that open bit at the mouth of glasshouse creek.
all up about 10 tings in the esky and two flatties to keep them company.

well done Neil I went up there today aswell launched about 10:30am bit late I know had to get the kids to school. We pumped some yabbies at mission point and headed up to coochin crk.Dropped the pots and started searching for some chinese fish. We caught nothing.Fished a few spots on the way back to dbrook and managed 1 bream about 10cm and an estuary cod about 30cm. Needless to say the only Chinese fish i'll be eating tonight is take away. Got a couple of unders in the pots and a couple of jennies. Warning to those venturing up that way the pot robbers are out and about but its ok they don't steal your pots they just tie them up ontop of beacons and toss them up into the trees Dirty P--cks. I think there where 2 tings that went over the 26-7 mark all the rest where just legal. The old man was desperate for a feed.

i got to tell you its hard to drift through/past country that you would normally spend a bit of time chucking plastics.
I took my plastics rod with me but i have never been able to fish bait and plastics out of the same boat at the same time.
And I've got to tell ya if i didnt catch anything on the placcies and the old man did
on bait i would never hear the end of it

his boat played up too so that gives me a very good reason to head out again tomorrow night to see if what i have done has fixed it. this is the only time i like being the mechanic in the family.

We have hooked up to what i believe was shovel nose sharks a few weeks ago.
but they beat us on light line every time.

went out to check out the old mans boat last night.
all in all i should ahve stayed at home.
    Boat not fixed
3 bites in 2 hours. although i didnt venture to far from the ramp
