Just Chasing after some stickers that i can stick on the boat gunnels. I have seen these stickers on bar crushers. They are used to get extra grip when you wall towards the front of the boat. Prevents you from slipping into the drink

If its that black stuff that looks like sand paper, try a skate board shop.
they sell rolls of it BCF
tim, get the best quality you can, (usually a 3M product) it won't be cheap but it'll go the distance. they sell it at glascraft and most chandleries plus also at safety gear shops.
Safety supply stores have tons of the stuff in all thicknesses and widths. There is a big mob on Robinson road at Geebung.
Jack.
Or if you want someting different why not try a surf shop and get the ones they stick on surfboards ,just another idea they are deffinately waterproof....matt
A bad days fishing has got to be better than any day at work......
I found the stuff at 'Supercheap' - about $5-6 for 5m and comes in a variety of colours.
I have used it around the anchor well for 6+ months and works well...

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges
Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)
$5-6 for 5mtrs??????
Bunnings also stock it, its a 3M product, and a 50mm wide roll at 5mtrs is about $37.
I have used it many times and again yesterday. Very good stuff.
Cannot believe a similarly effective product woudl be available for $5-6.
Cheers
The 3M product is a top of the line product but you can get other stuff a lot cheaper, just depends if you want to take the gamble on how long it will stay there.
I got the 3M tape for almost half the retail price through work. works a treat wet or dry and is not too harsh on your knees when climbing over the bow.
We have started importing the jet ski material for our boats and it works mick mouse, and compared to cork, non slip tape and painted surface, far superior. Contact us at www.commodoremarine.com, if you want details.
the best stuff of all (if you can find some) is the stuff the Roads guys use to make fluro lines on the Road, it is about 15CM wide and is a reflective silver/white, and is like an Aluminium Tape that is sand paper like on the one side and super stick glue on the other, believe me, it will stick and stay stuck, my old Boat (alloy) had some put on about 15 years ago, and it is still on it, not too sure who makes it, but it comes in a roll about 200 metres long, but I assume you can get it in smaller ones as well.
