Monduran stockings

just a question can anyone tell me whether monduran is more of a bass dam or a barra dam? i always see reports on the barra's but does many people target bass and catch them often or more of a buy catch?

Purcho,

It is stocked with both, however barra are the dominant species (due to more numbers stocked). Bass are easier to catch during the cooler months IMO. Some blokes deliberatley target them using lighter, smaller gear. Often they are caught as a byproduct when chasing barra!!! great fun too!! They are nearly all big (40-50cm / 1-2kg). MASA stocked about 25,000 earlier in march.

129,000 barra
120,000 bass
