    Compressor Tank

Am looking to mount my compressor permanently on the camper. Any suggestions on what to use as an air tank? Have gas tank salvaged from local auto leccy used for air conditioner gas. Would this be strong enough or what would anyone suggest. Thanks Bill

What size tank you looking at? and what maximum PSI do you want it to hold?
GMC sell a general purpose 16L compressed air tank rated up to 115 PSI.

You can refill it from any servo too if needed

Thanks for that. Will look into it further. The tank I have is the size of a 9kg gas bottle & I want pressures up to 110 psi. Space is limited but this bottle fits neatly. Bill

Any truck wreckers nearby? the air tanks on them are virtually custom made for your purpose, just need to find one the right size.
