Furuno v/s Sitex

Have thought and talked long enough and am after " last words " .

Furuno Fcv 620 or Sitex CVS 833 .
Boat is a Quintrex 5.6 m .

Koden CVS 833....

Havent had much to do with the koden's however a couple of mates have 620's and love them! tricky decsion i guess! Good luck with it!

Ive had a FCV 600L great sounder & a CVS 118 great sounder , but the koden started to fog up & by that time the insides were stuffed from corrosion !!!
I now have a FCV620......

PS THE UNIT WAS IN A CABIN BOAT ALSO !!!

Thanks guys , have ordered the FCV620 . Both have good feedback , but in the end decided on space , the 833 would have been a tight squeeze .

Never heard of Sitex, go with the furuno as i am on my 4 unit in my last 4 boats and they have only gotten beter each time.

Go for the Furuno mate i have the old fcv 600l and it's never let me down. i am waitting to sell this unit and upgrade to 620 or 585 furuno models.

That is correct. They are the same thing. Pretty sure Koden/Sitex produced the worlds first colour sounder as well.
