Furuno Price Increase in 1 Week, better buy now...FURUNO USA recently announced that all Furuno FCV Units and other popular models will be going up in price no less than $100 on April 21st. We will be selling at the current 2007 pricing while supplies last on "In-Stock" units. Products that will increase in price are the FCV-620, FCV-585, 1623 and 1715 Radars, all Navpilots, GP32, RD30, PG500 and a handful of other products. This will not affect Navnet 3D or VX2. Some prices will increase as much as $800. If you intend to buy a Furuno FCV-62! 0 or 585 do not wait any longer -

Have just ordered a FCV620 from Fishon they said same thing , $100 increase on this unit after Friday . This would then attract import duty (over $1000aud) adding approx another $110 or so .

The aussie market dosn't look so bad now. i saw a dealer on the north side of brisbane have them advertised for $1199 inc transducer and $75 cash back! Thats $1124 and have a 2year australian warranty! in my eyes you cant go wrong and know that you are going to recieve the unit it one piece and have no problems!

Oh well, my next unit may not now be a Furuno, I expect when they did their sums they decided this large increase was enough to offset the decreased net return from total units sold.

In business they do things like that you know

The cheap money the execs used to provide their family in multiple luxury cars might be drying up

    Cheers fnq
