welcome aboard. I'm a bit of a newbie as well, but have been on ausfish for about a month now. there a a lot of friendly and helpful people on here. im sure you will get a lot of information and enjoyment out of ausfish. oh and dont forget to buy a shirt and some stickers. they look great.
i'm from the tablelands, so maybe we could hook up one day. what part of cairns are you from?

I'm a newbie here too. I read and read the threads with great interest! Learning all the time.
I'm in the Trinity Park area, I launch from Bluewater mostly.
The wind is a bugger eh?!! Aint been out in quite a few weeks.

However will try a bit of 'Barrabashing' (C'n'R) at the lake next weekend.

I'm a newbie too... but welcome! As for the wind guys, apparently it will settle on Saturday which is also going to be the only sunny day for the week due to intermittant showers week long...
