No problems at all if its done humanly, when fish and cows learn to talk I might have an issue..we are top of the food chain

Nope, never had the slightest bit of feeling when killing a fish, or anything else for that matter, the only exception was when I killed the pig we had been raising, it was a wild pig we caught while catching its mother so I took it home fattened it up and when the time came I was a bit attached to the little bugger, used to follow me round like a puppy, but he still ended up on the table at Christmas, I told my little sister we 'freed' it just to get her to eat. Was some good lean bacon and ham though mmmmm...
Just as a side matter.
There are those who will say...." don't you know God don't want you to eat meat"
The standard reply is.
" Well how come he put the wrong teeth in my head then"
cheers
Grew up on a pigfarm.By the age of 10-12 would have killed a few. Some people shoot things for fun and trophys,at least we eat our catch. To answer your question no not at all.Its done as quick as possible .

At Heaven's gate a soldier stood,
his story ready to tell,
St Peter said, 'no need my son all is understood,
Go right in cos you've already served your time in Hell'

Killing fish is murder... tasty murder
Yeah its getting harder for me to kill fish,on saturday i let a shovel nose go i had him on the duckboard about to cut of the tail and bleed him and, couldnt do it, it seems lately every week we have been coming home with a flat head or 4 whitting but not enough for a good feed and these fish go into the freezer as crab bait and it seems like a waste, since i nearly always use pilies as crab bait,im finding as i get older it would be easier to kill another human than a defencless animal,i am by no meens a greenie but i even pull over for wounded animals and cant keep driving past.I dont smoke weed or do any drugs but i think carmer is starting to play on my mind.
Fair enough mate

Dylan
I do, but no where near enough to make me stop finshin and eating fish.... if i was the size of a yabbie swimming around no fish would think twice before eating me... they are vicious predators themselves.... however i dont eat shark no more or try to catch them due to the fact ive started sufing these last few years and im afraid of karma...
I wont take big cod any more, i caught on up maggi island that went33 lb and when i took it home i laid it on the bench and went to the drawer to get a knife and it just watched me i mean those guys have got dogs eyes they follow you around, if i went there it looked at me and if i went thataway he was still looking.I still butched it but i wont kill any more of them now.
Hi thought you might be interested, I have just finished exhaustively researching your claims on as many green, lockout government and save our ocean type of web sites I could find....I am now in a place to categorically state due to overwhelming consensus that your quote above is an entirely false claim, the underwater realm is actually a utopia of love without hurt, pain or damaged emotion.
Fish teeth have evolved solely to deal with fisherman's line and nets and for the friendly picking of parasites from mates, sometimes if extremely lucky a person can experience the opportunity to witness bigger fish frolicking in fun and games with many smaller fish near the surface, so please no more spreading of not nice rumors, what would Nemo think! thanks...
cheers fnq
FNQ!!!! Hehehe!
I don't feel the slightest tingling of guilt or anything sinking the knife into a good fish that will be taken home and eaten. I don't like waste though, and I don't have much time for killing for the sake of killing. One guy here stated something along the lines of not having a problem if it is a "mongrel" fish. What's a mongrel fish??? Just one that you don't like or isn't good to eat?? So you kill it because you don't like it?? That is something I seriously object to, and no I'm not green and I don't sleep with trees.

Not this little black duck.I was seeing who actually feels bad when you cut a fishes throat or kill it another way
I consider all legal fish to be fair game as the law decrees, and have no problem with the killet and fillet technique.
