Some mods I would consider on the 555 for offshore work would be:
Duel batteries
Float switch on the bilge pump
Plumb the back tanks as live bait tanks
If you go the Brooker trailer, (don’t get the strap on the winch get spectra rope and treat every nut and bolt on it as they will rust very quickly and check the bearings for split pins)
They offer a Matrix sounder/GPS combo which I took out of the package and sourced my own Furuno gear.
There is no EPIRP in the package and would be needed (a 406 Mhz next year)
I added extra rod holders and a grab rail and ladder
I agree with all things on Scotts list if you can stretch the budget, just a couple to add ;
Get some addtional sets of rollers on the trailer, tell them you want a set on each cross member, will save you some greif getting it on and off and scratches in the hull.
Make sure that the second bait tank (unplumbed) has a drain into the bilge, or it dumps straight onto the second battery.
If you go the yam, 2- (115 /130 which is a good engine) then see if you can upgrade the fuel tank to a 200 ltr.
At the back of the boat in front of the engine make sure they fit some stick on non slip steps, the cable tidy scratches the crap out of the gelcoat on the back.
One thing I do give Marine tune the thumbs up for is service, nothing has ever been a problem, "yep bring her in and well have a look", service has always been great.
If you keen for a look pm me and we can arrange something, I am not too far away from you.
