Thread: Banned Ausfish members

    Re: Banned Ausfish members

Not trying to be smart Mod 5, but there is a an area called 'General Fishing Chat'. The flood, and dissemination of information about the flood.... which will hopefully benefit the river and fishermen in general should, surely, be of general interest?

If I posted a request in the wrong place, then why not put it in the right place?

If the post did not "fit in"with the ethos of the site then why not tell me?

I've been a big fan of your site with a lot of "fisho's" I've come across. Having been an "advertiser" of your site is there not something called "customer service"? or politeness?

    Regards, Rob.

    Re: Banned Ausfish members

The post had nothing to do with "General Fishing" hence why it was moved.

If the mods wrote a PM or E-mail to every person that they had to shift or delete a post for they would get nothing else done. It is far easier if people just post the post in the correct section.

When were you an advertiser? Pardon me for not knowing but the name and your E-mail address do not ring any bells. Not that it would matter, your post would be treated the same no matter who you are, just curious to the statement.

Simply meaning that by passing on information from the site to friends and fellow fishers I'm advertising the information posted.

Rob personal rational doesn't come into it, its the owners site, his property just like a car/boat actually a better analogy could be a bus -if you want to ride the rules will allow it, if you don't like it then hop off you are of low consequence being an individual, another will hop on, enjoy what is good and swallow what is not - which is not very much all things considered.

Would like to see a bilge section like the big US sites have, they usually become the highest clicked forum section but as above not for me to choose and I couldn't really care less - I don't own the site so have no perceived ownership of it - except for the bugs this V forum lets loose on my dinosaur computer software

    cheers fnq

    Thoughts and opinions welcome.

ater reading the posts from those names..I would bet just about anything that they were names used by one person who was banned a while back yet comes back using a variety of names and at various times.

We did. The Test Board used to be a Test & Off Topic Board and there also used to be a Live Chat. Unfortunately members could not respect the rules of Ausfish and both were closed.

Plus if I remember the rules of website ownership, Mr Ausfish would be liable for any information on this website that caused someone injury/death/etc, was slanderous, or someone found offensive.

Although I swear like a trooper, and am so very inappropriate it's not funny, I do try to make sure I keep it under wraps on this site... Think of if it was your little kid reading/looking at anything nasty on here...
