    Banned Ausfish members

    Hey guys and girls,
I have noticed some ausfish members get banned from time to time. Recently Small unit, and Youknowlenny, and maybe the smallish unit? Not sure about the last member, but maybe the mods could put up a post saying who got banned and why,,, maybe not.
    Thoughts and opinions welcome.
    Marty.

Poof here one minute gone the next, once you have been here for a while....like a dollar for every lost soul though some reincarnate.....

Sometimes my posts will disappear like it did in the last lot, cannot help thinking the ninja's sword must have missed me while I slept and also wonder what I may have done to anger our gods each time I miss all the pre banning fun

    cheers fnq

Like a true Assasin he has struck under the cover of Darkness, FlattyAssasin, FlattieMwassasin and a few others. He has slipped through screening with a few choice verbal assalts, quickly nipped in the bud before most eyes could see. The Mods are on the job early

    Re: Banned Ausfish members

i have been banned about 1 month or 2 ago because i asked for a mods help and posted something to do with an inapropriate post. first it was a 2 week ban but it got reduced to a 3 day ban, i agree with marty maybe others should be warned about why.

JMHO.........I own a few sites and it's the owners prerogative to ban people or not......sometimes mods get a bit too enthusiastic, but all they are trying to do is maintain the integrity of the site..........If you want a particular type of forum, nobody is stopping you from setting up your own (and paying for it)........

    Hi Keechie,

I saw your post before it got squashed. Your mistake was to post it on the forum, rather than just PM a Mod about it. From memory someone (who I suspect also got sent to the sidelines) pm'd you with inappropriate comments and you repeated them in your post. I am surprised the Mod did not point out to you what you did wrong?

    Cheers

    Dave

As to Small Unit and co. That was a road accident that was just waiting to happen!

what happened to freedom of speech are we living in communist Russia it seems to be a public forum till the mods don't agree . hey my grandfather fought in the war for my rights maybe the mods should occasionally pull there heads in and let people speak what they think. woodsy

    Re: Banned Ausfish members

You can read a copy of the rules that you agreed to when you signed, they are in the Help section. It is not rocket science, you agree to abide by those rules when you sign up and if you choose not to then you get banned. Pretty simple really. No need to give warnings to adults, you break the rules...

Woodsy we don't have freedom of speech in this country same goes for freedom of expression, both today in no way resemble what your forefathers fought for, it has taken 2 decades of never before seen in this country social engineering efforts to get where we are today.

    Re: Banned Ausfish members

I think we need to make something very clear in regards freedom of speech. This is not a public forum as such. It is privately owned and members have the privilege of using it providing they comply with the rules, which I might add, everyone agrees to on registration.

The other thing that needs to be made clear is that once permanently banned, that means banned for life. Sign up under another name and you will be banned again.
    Regards
