went today while camping/fishing leslie dam. i used predtek b 65mm, spinnerbait and some other cheap hard bodies can anyone tell the best lure and the best location for silver perch there

just have a look for baitfish and use a lure that looks the same or as close as possible to the fish... or use plastics there is more choice in colours and shapes

Mate I have recently discovered a new version of an old lure called a Mumbler, it is an overside Mumbler front with a soft plastic attached to the back by a single stinger hook. I was in the Stanthorpe area on the weekend and fished at Storm King Dam, I came up with 2 55cm Cod and 2 yellowbelly, they do look a little large for Yellowbelly but they do the trick. The only thing to keep in mind is they do require a fairly solid rod to cast them as they a fairly heavy.
