    Whiting&Flattie&dart

Went down the coast today mainly to go popping for whiting again but they were very few and far between. Scored 1 about 40 and a flatty about 48 which got airborne when it hit the popper. Then found a nice gutter on the beach , scored some beach worms and caught heaps of dart. Some not a bad size either. Good to feel the sand between the toes on the beach again. Ben

Ta geoff. Sure thing about the worm catching.(if you ever score leave pass) It's all in the timing. And yep the airbourne flatty was cool. Ben

Sounds like that back up plan worked a treat on the dart. I love fishing the beach but unfortunately I don't do it enough, Another good haul ,Cheers

Really nice to see a surf report. I get a bit tired of reading about snapper in the bay. Variety is the spice of life.

Ta guys, You're too right craig, variety in fishing is what it's all about , you've got to mix it up to get the most out of it. (If you always do what you've always done , you'll always have what you've always had). Ben

I'm with you two guys, you really need variety,if you enjoy doing the same thing every fishing trip fair enough,i won't hassle you,but me personally can't do that, even if we are catching nice fish

Nice catch, and it is even better knowing that you caught the bait that caught the fish! Very satisfying!
