I am looking at putting together a fishing trip in North WA for 6-8 mates. Have never been to this side of Australia before but are keen to have a look and a fish. I am looking for a 'fishing camp' type setup but my options are open. Need to fly in/fly out and a one week duration. Hoping for Jul-Sep 09 and planning (and saving) now.
Accomodation can be as basic as tents or in a resort as long as the fishing is good and varied. Would like to do beach, boat, offshore and river. Anywhere north of Exmouth is fine.

These few would be worth considering . The Monte Bello Islands are an awesome fishing destination that offer plenty of variety. The dampier archipelgo houseboat would require you to be more self sufficient but the guys who hire it out would give some pointers on the area.
No guarantees on what these operators are like but I know the location is a great place to fish. You could also find out some more info from the local tourist bureau:
