Lure rattles
Greetings all!
I've decided to try and put some rattles into my jewie lures.
The idea is that I drill a hole lengthways towards the head from the small of the back.
I then insert a short length of plastic Biro tube that contains small ball bearings to give hard surface for the bearings to rattle against.
I then glue a short length of dowel onto the hole and cut it flush with the surface of the lure.
I think I can do this but.... where can I get small ball bearings that don't cost the earth?
Any ideas?
Regards, Rob.

Re: Lure rattles
i am sure the guys at jones tackle have ones you insert and also i think they have the rattle chambers that you put in fornt of you lure on the line and it make a really loud rattle and provides some nice vibrations.

Try this link: http://www.jonestackle.com.au/
as said on the website they are located on lutwyche road, directly across from the fitness center next to the shopping center, even if they don't stock it they will order it in for you, but i am sure they have them just ask one of the friendly staff.
