hi all, was thinkn of headen out threw the noosa bar in the morning.was wondering if anyone could tell me whats it was like the sarvo.only have a 4.5meter tiny looks like it not getn any worse than today.cheers bigred

It was very flat this afternoon with plenty of small tinnies going out. Few tuna from the mouth to the 1st cut.

Has been a bit of action and should be whenever conditions allow til the end of the month. Southerly at the moment isn't helping a lot with a strong sweep through most gutters.
Is bait along most of the beach being fed on by mainly tuna behind the break and dart, big eye and giant trevs in the surf. Tailor are scarce despite everything but have been spinning up a couple here and there - nothing over 3 kilo. Unusual number of gts between 2 and 5kg hitting the slugs this year fortunately to compensate (a little) for the lack of tailor. Mac tuna have been within range of the beach fairly often but yet to strike a longtail or a spotty.
Would be bream, whiting and tarwhine in gutters not sweeping too much as well as dart which are also around the bait taking slugs and eugaries.
Water clarity is coming good again after another bit of run off last week - 3rd cut north is nearly blue.
Looks pretty good all up compared to what we've had the last few years.

Just finish this coffee and I'll go look for tailor and check the pots.

thanks for that lindsay, don't think i'll be throwing slugs i've got a crook shoulder at the moment so will be soaking bait. seeya in the surf
