    went out again last night mattooty was ment to come too but must of stayed in bed his bad luck i caught 3 fish the 2 i kept weighed 8kg each the one i realeased was about 7-8kg all on squid top of tide i pulled the hook on 1 of the 8kg fish right at the gaff he washed into the wall dead as a doorknob speeeewin so i rebaited and got bac into it about 45min later i looked down just to see the lost fish wash out of the wall i slid the gaff down and stuck him first go didnt he come to life when i stuck the gaff in

    Ryan is this March,April period the best for Jew or did you get that kind of results
    all year round?Great fish your catching,usually when I go to Yamba a pursue flathead and bream(even though I scored a nice cobia last time)but next time I wouldnt mind chasing jew.

    I went out at about 9ish and stayed till midnight. Took me an hour to get a 3 mullet. First one was taken the second it hit the water and took off before biting through the trace. 2nd and third baits were a bit more active, one was ripped off the hook, missed the hookup, the 3rd fish hit once, didnt hookup and didnt come back. Heading out tonight after i finish work tonight. Dont have an early morning tomoro so will be staying all night i think

    as by catch we get a few sharkys big fellas and a few big flathead on the livies with dead baits we get a few big bream cod jacks

    hi mex we usually get these kind of results all year location and tactics change to suit you didnt happen to get your cobia at the boatharbour did ya

    No it was on the just across from the clarence river holiday park near that old wharf where we jig for herring.It scoffed a whole livey that was meant for a flatty thought it was a shark until i saw the white stripe down the side.Not massive but bigger than a flathead!!

    very nice mex was just wondering cause somone got a 10kg 1 off the boatharbour a while ago
