    Lil Thready

    Hey all.

Went down to a certan spot in the middle brisbane river today with a thready in mind. Prawns were hard to come by but got a couple. First my mate got a stink'n pike eel. Then i knew i had something better than a catty, it was peeling some good line off my baitcaster and 14lb fireline. A nice fight later pops up my pb Threadfin Salmon, nothing huge at 60cm but im still very happy . She was released.

It is great that such top fish are being caught in the river. Threadies are on at the moment, seen them being caught right up the river from the mouth as far up as the Indroopilly Bridge. Heading out tonight so will post some pics if we get lucky!
