There was a report from Tailorboi recently when he visited the sunny coast. He still caught quite a few on the pellets. Have a look back through the reports to get more info.

a mate and i fished the park on the weekend using pellet fly`s,had a blinder.caught 60 barra between two of us in four hours,mainly smaller fellas but good fun on light fly rods.caught about six over 60cm and one went mid 70`s.lost a lot of fish but,i would like to have seen a couple of them.some popping the 17 pound leader on the strike!or after a short but intense run.it was toe too toe all day but we managed too keep count and it ended up even steven in the end.have fun
I went and yes it is a bit cold for the big boys pond but heaps were getting caught in the other ponds but only on pellets.
