Man those pods are huge!!! What a weapon i wonder how she performs. Yes well worth paying the transport if its a winner..
Those aren't pods - plural - that is 'a' pod ie one piece extension to both hulls & tunnel, but no increase in cockpit size . Damn, you see things sometime and say WTF...
Maybe he had the two donks & not quite the boat for them??? Probably spoilt a great boat in doing that.
I like his deck mats though. They look like thos floor thingies you buy all over the place now that come in blocks? Hmm, not a bad idea for the bottom of my dinghy actually
Hi Dean
I believe that this KC has been on the market for a while now.I will be over very near Bunbury over the next few weeks and would be able to check it out for anyone that may be interested.
I also have a very good contact with interstate freighters and could arrange transport from WA at a very reasonable price.
Only too happy to help any interested Ausfish member.

That's some serious pod work!! Problem is it's put the weight of those engines a looong way back, thus maybe negating the extra floatation of the pods. Be very interesting to see how it performs or if it's just bu&&ered up a good KC!
Scotty.
please, none from ausfish buy this boat!
the last thing we need is another spruking 5.2 KC owner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mate, I agree, they are a great little boat....
Know a mate that fitted two 90 honda 4stokes to his 5.2. It required a bit of pod work but runs great now. The yammy 100 4st is about 10 kgs heavier than the hondas. The pod work on this boat is quite extensive and by the look of it has more area in the water than the mates pods, so as long as those exhaust ports are have enough clearance at rest, it should be fine. The job looks pretty good from the one photo.
I would like to see how it sits in the water and weather he had to shift the tanks / put so ballast up the front. I really dont think these mods would wreck the performance of the boat, if anything it would enhance.
Yeah well the extension on this kc would provide alot of bouyancy which may handle the 100's no worries. It would be worth a look at for sure. Its very well priced as well if it performs well. Id have a look if i was still in the market, it'd hoot too I guess its a 6 metre kc now!
