cold wet sunday morn surface sesh
i hit up a spot in maroochy hopeing to find some trevs but the wether was so crap. the wind was blowing making casting verry hard then it started to pore down and the trevs where no where to be found so the i desided to target a few bream i had my woody on and first cast with it and i was on to a nice little feller them all went quiet. i floged the place to only get a few missed hits and a few rizes so i put on a popper. the next few casts and the biggest bream i have ever seen came up and smashed the hell out of my clear reble wee pop r and ran for about 5 seconds then the hooks pulled NO NO NO it was fricking huge but hay thats fishing. this happend 3 more times to some verry big bream and i was getting a little bit peed off so i tryed a different popper that i have never used that much, a strike pro rack popper that basskid gave me. the next few casts and blopblopblop twitch twitch BANG yeehaa zzzzzz and yess the hooks hold and this feller comes up. i then got a nother one but it was only about 14cm and by now my mate had the sh$ts (his towadi was not catching any thing)and had to get home to his mrs but he did nail a tiny gt on his last cast so it made him feel a little better. so we packed it in with a smile on both of our faces.
