Prawns in the Noosa area???

G'day,

I would love to get some prawns in the noosa/tewantin area. Can anyone give me some idea as to where and the best times/tides/moon to catch them. I have a cast and drag net

Hmmm, I'd say in the river would be your best bet

got about 5kg last monday night in a cast net, in about 2 hrs....too deep to drag....pm me for more details....have to wait for next moon to see if they run again but my guess is there nearly done for the year...still seem to pick up a few in my spot when they arent in big numbers(between moons).
