    Lowarance Fuel Sensor

Does anyone out there have a lowrance fuel sensor are they worth having i have a inboard motor so i would like to go a fair way out so a fuel meter would be good.

Questions. Are they easy to install and wire yourself.

How much did you pay as the local guy recons around $280 but could give me the exact price

    .Is it worth it.

Any input would be great as no one i know has one
    Cheers Kev.

    Aqua Rat,

$300.00 is about the same as what it cost me to set it up, but once you have invested your money you will be able to use the network for other things, such as engine management.

Me personally was worth every cent to know how much fuel I have remaining in the tank on every trip and how much I am using.

have a look at this thread,

I bought mine for $120 at Reef Marine, took 30 mins to install. Took way longer to muck around with the sounder to set it up the way I wanted it.
