    So Ryan this is how its gone so far.....

    From the 29-03-08 through to the 04-04-08 you have landed....

    * 2 longtails and lost 1 spaniard
    * 2 more longtails and hooked 3 on bait jigs...?????
    * A 17kg Jew as a by catch
    * A 10kg Jewfish
    * A 16kg Jewfish
    Then a 2 day drought.....
    * Another 14kg Jewfish
    * 2 more Jewfish at 8.5kg & 11kg
    * Now 2 more Jewfish at 10kg and 11.8kg.....

    This has all happened in a week...

    Sorry for being a sceptic mate but it sounds far fetched......

    And if it is true what on earth do you do with that amount of fish...?????

    Mate if its true then yes I am Jelous....
    No thinking about it I know down where you are you do get plenty of Jew and longtails of the wall.
    I have caught longtails off the wall down there but never fished for Jew there.
    I remember seeing heaps of shots up in Dizzy's shop when he had it.
    He was a bit of a Jewie legend down there wasnt he...?

    I can tell you now Pete, he's not getting them all off the wall that's for sure!
    From Yamba Point to Sandon, there's plenty of headlands and shelves to fish.
    It's prime Jew country.

    Being a yamba local mate, the wall is the easiest spot to fish from in the surrounding area. All the headlands to the south are very rugged or have a hard walk in and going north of the river is a 40minute drive. If you really wanted to see some huge numbers of jew get taken then sit at the parking lot at the wall and count cricket score catches.

    Re: last night

    Leave a few for me Ryan. I'm heading down that way for another shot in a couple of weeks. Thought I might have a couple of night sessions targeting the jew this time

    Re: last night

    That is one hell of a river system, to produce the number of jew that get taken in that vicinity.
    Plenty of reefs thereabouts too.
    Does anyone know the lifecycle of the mulloway?
    The king of surf/estuary fish IMHO!
    Cheers and enjoy your fishing Ryan.
