No luck off Townsville rockwalls

Tried the Townsville rockwalls yesterday for the incoming late arvo tides and bugger all. Used fresh baits of mullet and prawn. Tried last weekend from 5am morning making tides and again buggerall. Eaten by crabs I suspect.

The fishing gods should be here in gods country smiling on us budding fisherman/women. What's going on??????????????

Yeah Kev i got a good feed of good crabs down there a few weeks ago and had some good runs but no hook ups got just over 2kgas of prawns in 3 casts one night but only a handful the next.

Bad luck kev. Everything seems to be going against us Townsville folk lately doesn't it. At least you've been putting the effort in though, which is more than I can say for myself.

Prawns have been very hit and miss lately like Wade said. My brother's been going down and one night he'd come back with his limit, others he'd barely make up enough for bait that night.

Tried again this morning from 5am -8am. Prawns were the choice the fish made. Caught 2 undersized Grunter, 1 undersized bream and my whole mullet turned into a shark.
