Petrol in the Bribane river

Hi every one,

Is there any where else to get petrol along the brisbane river than Rivergate Marina. Last time i filled up it was $1.65 L and this can hurt when you have 2 x 400l tanks.

Sorry mate, can't help you there. as long as the price of oil is up there, so will the price at the bowser. even up here in FNQ, its the same price. I heard on the radio the other day that it could go up to $3/liter over the next few years!
we all might have to invest in paddle boats.

dunno what the price is up here, its been nearly 3 weeks since I last visited the bowser, last time I got fuel it was $1.35, but it wouldn't surprise me if it has risen that much in so little time. What annoys me the most is seeing the price of oil go down and fuel stay the same or go up again, but they don't hesitate increasing prices when oil jumps.

Can't help you on where else to get fuel but can confirm that Rivergate charge like the proverbial wounded bull! When I last went up to Brissie, they were 11c a litre more expensive than the fuel dock near Morton Bay Trailer Boat Club at Manly.

Be interested to hear if there is anywhere else.

$1.49 last weekend at Hope Island Marina.
rivergate must be a ripoff if the 'money' down there are only charged this much!
(and no, wasn't my boat at Hope Island!!)

Where did you pay that Noelm?. Everywhere I drove past today (Redlands Qld) had Diesel for around $1.50 a litre!?.

No arguing though that diesel users are being ripped off big time in Oz.
