Borumba Report
Hi Guys, Went to the dam today and fished Jackels, Spinner Baits and Soft Plastics. There were 4 other boats in the sticks and didn't see a fish boated. Spoke to the loacls and they said since the dam has filled it has been very quiet.

Re: Borumba Report
Yeah i just read it after that one. Well done on the last trip. Its a tough place to fish sometimes. I prefer the pre dawn to about 8 or the arvo into the night for the Toga and bass especially surface. What did you think of the scenery???? It really is a special place. I love it. It reminds me of some photos i have seen of some of the places in Canada and uther untouched remote areas.
Cheers

Re: Borumba Report
great place and isnt exactly easy to fish.
I dont think it would have been much off a dam when it was low but when i went it was great casting poppers into the shellow grass and getting smashed by 40cm+ bass great fun.
The one lure that helped me find the bass and yellowbelly was white spinner baits with gold blade.(thanks warrior again)
ow and the great thing is the size off the bass smallest i got was 27cm
cheers BK

Re: Borumba Report
smak and those tt lure ones (forgot the name) in 1/2 only so i could cast them easy with the baitcaster but you dont need that weight. rapala skitterpops and bubblepop65s work for the poppers and we where catching bass on them untill 10am but rob did get 2 at about 1 in the avo but morning 6-10 and avo 3- just past dark was the best
cheers BK cant wait to go back
