    Redcliffe morning session

Went for a quick fish @ scotts point area this morning and ended up with a couple of nice squire one 56 the other 59 first one just before sun up on a pillie and the biggest after the turn of the tide about half seven on a slab of silver trevally that hit the bait jig.four or five undersize squire, a couple of tailor and a huge pike which was used for bait.were the results of the morning. threw out a bit of burley just to help bring them around which seemed to work , also there was something big and fast terrorizing the schools of bait fish not far from me. Been a while since i fished scotts so nice to see a few fish around the area. Cheers Muz

Good stuff - I've been thinking of having a dawn session at Scott's Point soon now that the bay snapper are starting to turn up in all the usual places. Next week maybe

Was it on the reef or in the shallows.

silent - your right mate not too far at all from the ramp. cheap on fuel.
Plastix- the tailor were only little choppers about 25-30cm. one of the little buggers bit me!
Swanny- not our usual marks Bob just motored along till I found a bit of a rise and anchored up.not from from the other spots though.
seahorse- only about half a k of shore in about 18 ft of water there was a few other boats around but i didn`t see too much action from them. alot of moving around going on. anchor up anchor down...........anchor up anchor down. noisy buggers! maybe why they weren`t getting much.

When will these people learn? If your using an anchor, lower it hand by hand slowly into the water. Dont clunk it over the front of the boat. Especially when your stopping near me! scares the fish away!

Cheers Muz, got that picture mate. That has to be the biggest threadfin I've seen pulled out of the brissie river let alone any river. Mate it didn't seem to be as beefy as normal.Looked a lot leaner but would have had to been easy over 1.6 metres.
