Well after 4 attempts we are finally off to 1770 this weekend for a week.
Taking the wife, 2 yo daughter, 4.5m/40hp tinnie, half a tonne of fishing gear etc.
Very excited, looks like it's going to be a bit windy though!
Looking for any hints and tips about the drive, fishing etc.
Have a 4x4 dual cab ute to tow the boat.
Are there any do's and don'ts for the trip?
First big trip for the 2yo also, so any advice of keep her happy in the car on a big trip would be appreciated also.
Leaving about 4 am Saturday morning.
Staying in a place with a view of the estuary at 1770.

Nice place to have a holiday was there over x'mas and loved it even though it blew its ass out. Try going to the fishing tackle store on the way into 1770 they will tell you what s biting and where. As for the little one trial and error is the go as all kids are different both of my kids are very good travelers. My youngest 2yrs sleeps most of the way wakes up and realises that she is still in the car and goes back to sleep, maybe try stopping at a few parks for a run around if it gets to bad.
