Decided to hit the coomera on sunday morning to check if the jacks where still around, and more importantly if they where on the chew.
The morning was cold and the thick fog hit the water along with my popper at 4.30 am. I cast my popper as close as i could to the structures without getting the snags, which can be damn hard when it is still dark.
No takers for the first hour until the sun hit the horizon and bang my first jack. 2 casts later another, 4 casts later 1 more. Best fish went about 36.
Left the water at 7.30 knowing they are still here. Good Stuff![]()
