updating Bluecharts

G'day Everyone,

Just registered my bluechart and went through the garminwebsite for updating charts and it has no updates or responses for this chart.

Is it that I have the latest chart or do they not offer updates on preprogrammed marine data cards?

I know its a bit like a dog chasing its tail having the latest chart versions but if i yesterday paid the money for charts I would like to know they are current at least.

Easiest way is to flick garmin (GME in Aus) an email about it because their website doesn't seem to be up to date most of the time.

Not sure about the data cards though, but i emailed them a while back and they can send you a free upgrade CD for my Mapsource based Bluecharts.

there is a way to update the software on the data card, you need to get a data card reader, then get software updater. The following link has the details.
