as the weather is so good this weekend i am wanting to take my tinny offshore off mooloolaba. can anyone tell me some decent spots fairly close in to try?
also what sort of rigs and bait should i be using.
and lastly I have some 7inch nuclear chickens so how do i use them in deep water
I presume you have marks to find the Inner Gneerings. Just sound around in that area and you will find the odd bit of structure. I just anchor over these and bottom fish with a paternoster rig. I usually get a berley trail going as well with a floater. I have't played much out there with plastics.
Im very new to the plastics scene and never used them in deep water. But im guessing ya just need a heavy jighead to get it to the bottom, then work it the same way as shallower waters. Inner gneerings is only 10-20 metres deep, so it shouldnt be too differnt. someone can correct me if im wrong.
