Bay Mackeral??

G'day everyone, I have got tomorrow off work and the weather looks to be okayish for the morning si I am wondering if anyone came accross any mackeral in the last week between Redcliffe Peninsula and Tangalooma / Combie??

Offshore Noosa has got heaps aparently. The yak brigade have been getting thier baglimits easily lately.

Tried on tuesday and thursday 25th and 27th. Nil. Plenty of Tuna to play with though.

None out there yesterday, did find some schools of long tail in the mid bay section, not many schools though, one or two only and very skittish.

I spent half this morning out in the bay trolling spoons around all the schools of tuna and mac tuna and not one mackeral was spotted or caught. Lots and lots of tuna but nothing large enough to target tho. Biggest I saw was about a metre long and he was nearly twice as big and the average.
