    i hit the rocks again this mornin chasin a longtail or mackeral after finally gettin aa bait i got my first throw in 5 mins went by when finally something ripped my float under only to see it rise back to the surface 20 odd meters away changed baits and second throw nearrly straight away my float teared off at amillion mills an hour 10 min later i landed a n ice little longtail about 10 killos i kept this one as 1 of my mates is learnin to taxiderm off rod gardnier and needs a fish to work on (so hes not destroyin customers valuable catches) anyway 1 more cast 2mins go by when finally my float turn into the deep blue this time i hooked him after about 10 solid head shakes it took off after him pullin for abit then me pullin for a bit i got the glimps of a very nice barrie 2 more winds and i pulled the hook speeewwwiiinn got 1 more longtail later that after noon and hooked three on my bait jigs

    If its genuine its a great fish...and I know the effort involved being landbased.

    Something strange about those pictures though...??
    How old are they..??

    Nice work mate. I got spooled by a beast like that up at Inskip Point over Easter fishing for Flathead with 8lb braid on a 2000 Sol! Great coupla fish from the rocks .

    Mate i think that fish looks a lot heavier than 10kg. The fish in my photo went 16kg. I think your selling yourself short. As Pistol_P said how old are those photos?.

    mate what do ya mean genuine there not digies there taken on an old slr then scaned onto my computer mate the original photo still isnt 24hours old yet

    They're definately recent pics guys. The rod in those pics is only a fortnight old.
