YES if we cannot be bothered to choose a path through the myriad of everyday less than 'safe' products pushed to us as OK to risk according our regulators, smoking in comparison is far from the unsafe practice it is compounded to be in comparison, but still genetics is the big leveler and our Australian regulators only saving grace.

The Army uses Bushman as its recognized as the best repellant on the market.

Any of you every tried to fish a far north QLD estury in summer without busham on? No other repellent works as well. Yeah it melts plastic and you have to be careful. Use the gel and not the spray as you dont get over spray. But its totally safe for short term use(2-3weeks)

But if your fishing where the sandflies are really bad you'll be glad you bought it. Aerogard, rid etc just dont cut the mustard...
I couldn't agree more on the effectiveness ...... I've fished some of the creeks up Hinchinbrook way .... & by the second day everyone is looking for my Bushmans , rather than using their Tropical strength Aeroguard & Rid ...... now .. They just buy bushmans ( It also was recommended for PNG.... by the expats)

I found the old stuff was brutal, melt the paint of lures and leave not only you lure looking great but the bottom on your tackle box looking a bit worse for wear. However i have used the new bushmans and found it to be great. But if there is something else out there i would love to know about it. I have recently using the "Off" product and would have to give it the thumbs up.
