My fortunes have played out well and ill be heading out tomorrow...going out around the cape and making our way back to kooringal to sleep and ill be checking out the mackeral on fri morning. stand by for confirmation.

I was out yesterday and there are definitely mackerel schools working the out side of bribie. There was a big school around m2, but they proved hard too hook, only got on boat side that managed to free itself. Cant confirm it was a spottie but it was not a big fish certainly not like the 1m spotties that have been in the bay over the last couple of years. Good luck on your mackerel hunt today.
