    Lowrance 527 owners

    A friend has just purchased a Lowrance 527 combo unit. We played with it over Easter and found the colours of the mapping side a bit drab. He has a Navionics card covering all of Australia fitted.

    Is there anywhere that these colours can be changed to make the various depths and land stand out.

    I have a Humminbird combo and the colours of the different depths are adjustable and really bright and colourful making easy viewing when moving.

    I have a LCX 27C and this is how it works on mine

    Go to Map Data then Safety Contour and change to Automatic
