wuruma dam
Went to wuruma dam for an arvo fish on easter sat. consistent se winds and showery rain did not make for the best conditions. Just wanted to see if there was any thing around. Water has risen a metre or so with flooded vegetation around the edges. Plenty of small baitfish and shrimps around flooded grass. Dad caught two bass, one on live shrimp and the other casting lures to the bank. Best one was 47cm. I only got a 4wd yellowbelly of which there was heaps. Both bass were in excellent condition and fought very well. Released both .Spoke to a guy in local stocking association and he has recently released 6000 barra and 20000 bass into the dam. Hoping for some more water.

Thanks for the update Streaky.
Wuruma is a great little dam - when it had more water the fishing was great. Less crowds - lots of serenity.
As Trev says. That is a great bass you have there.
Well done and thanks for the update.
Cheers Kel & lyndon.
