What sort of guides?

I've got an Abu Morrum b/c and am curious as to what sort of guides are on this rod.
I was told when I purchased it that the guides were designed for braid.

Any one got any clues?

i have seen them before very nice guides dont know what they are but they do handle braid

i thought the same from the photo but the inserts seem to be very thin unlike any guide i have seen

I had one of those rods, I believe they are hardened chrome guides, made by an "unnamed" company.

they are fine for braid. just a little noisier than ceramic guides, kinda like REC guides, except not titanium!
