    back 2 back uni will work just make sure you twist it around a few more times i recon so it wont slip.

    yeah attaching braid to braid. I was thinking of doing this because it is about $20 cheaper buying two 125yd spools than buying a 300yd spool.

    Nothing wrong with attaching braid to braid.

    The best method is to do two doubles.....A bimini in each then use a loop to loop connection (cats paw).
    This is the most reliable and wont you let down.

    I think this is the best way to join braid on larger reels ( its bulky for <400 size baitcasters though)
