threw the tinny in again yesterday morning,,,, thought at first this is great,,, 1000 car and trailer combo's in the spinnaker car park,,, and a nice fellow is leaving as i pull up,,, this has to be a good omen

went out to the old favorite spot,,, ""x"" marker in front of ningi creek,,, zilch for about an hour n half,,,, waved and said hi to a few locals who were experiencing the same

tossed the favorite coin in the air,,,, heads=explore ningi creek,,,,,,tails=cooks rock,,,

heads won,,, so up the creek we went,,,and yet again,,, another hour or so,,,,zilch

so i dodged about a zillion floats and thought,,, give gallaghers and parrot island a go,,,,,always something happening there,,,,,,, yeh sure,,, 1 bream undersize,,,1 shovelie,,, and a LEGAL squire,,, (bugger,,, were's ya mates,,) so i released it

gallaghers had more boats in it than spinnaker marina on a sell out sale

i thought bugger it,,, cooks here i come,,,, went to start the motor,,, and yep,,, the old problem came back,,,, wants to go,,, but thinks the choke is full on,,

got back to the start of the ""s"" bend in banksia,,, heard a couple of bings n bangs from the motor,, and voila,,,, full throttle resumed,,,

so straight back to the ramp

the $$$ thing didn't miss a beat,,, until i backed off to enter the marina,,, then it went like it had full choke on again,,,,,

cracked a scotch,,,, to help with the rib pain,,,,,and thought,,, i need a bigger boat,,,,,, AND GUESS WHO was on the ramp about to trailer his,,,,,,, (a message from god perhaps??)

i didn't notice him at first,,, until he called hello choppa,,,,, then after the hi's and how did ya go's,,, we both headed for the home fronts

got me thinking tho',,,,the problem with the motor is only minor,,,, but i haven't told mrs choppa that,,,, and i could handle a 15 footer by myself now,,,,electric start does have benefits,,,along with,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
